Cherry Cobbler

Ingredients

2 cups fresh or frozen pitted cherries (Substitute blueberries, blackberries or any fruit you like.)

1 stick (1/2 cup) butter

1 cup sugar

1 cup milk

1 cup flour

2 tsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a pie pan or 8 x 8 casserole, melt butter in the oven as it preheats.

Combine sugar, milk, flour, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl.

Pour sugar mixture over the melted butter.

Add fruit evenly over the top of the batter.

Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until batter is golden brown.

Serve warm with ice cream. Enjoy!
