Bloody Mary Rimming Salt

When Sylvia asked me to do a food demonstration for the Holiday Open House at Green Door Gourmet on Nov. 18th I was so excited. I knew exactly what I wanted to do – sets of seasoned salts to give as gifts. I made these for the first-time last year and they were a hit – especially in my house where we use them all the time. From sweet to savory from salad to steak, these salts perk up everything and – as my cooking rule generally goes – they are so easy to make.

One of the recipes I’ll be demonstrating tomorrow is for a Bloody Mary Rim Salt. This is a happy coincidence because Sylvia is demonstrating how to set up a Bloody Mary Bar! My suggestion – go check out her class – get a sample –  and then come a see how to make seasoned salt sets as gifts that everyone will love!
