Pumpkin Crockpot Dessert
Ingredients
2 cans pumpkin puree
1/3 cup sugar
2 Tbsp maple syrup
2 tsp pumpkin pie spice (cloves, ginger, cinnamon)
½ tsp salt
1 yellow cake mix
1 stick (1/2 cup) melted butter
½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts
cooking spray
Directions
Spray crockpot with cooking spray.
Mix pumpkin puree with sugar, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, and salt.
Put pumpkin mixture in crockpot.
Sprinkle cake mix evenly over the pumpkin mixture.
Pour melted butter over the top of the cake mix.
Sprinkle with nuts.
Cook on low setting for 4 ½ hours.
Enjoy with ice cream, whipped cream or all by itself.
Great cold leftover too!
